In October 2020 I drove 650 miles to the Isle of Skye for a 5-day photography and drone filming holiday. The weather was mixed, to say the least. Two of the 5 days I was unable to fly the drone at all but having driven so far I was determined to at least get some good stills on those days.

Landscape photography has always been my weakest skillset but with scenery as magnificent as this who could fail to capture some acceptable images. The drone flying time was restricted and I wasn't able to capture enough footage at some of the locations which can make the construction of a movie a little bit disjointed.

In the past, I have always "Stolen" a soundtrack appropriate for the scenes and chopped it up to fit. This time around I decided to construct my own music. Not something I have a great deal of experience with, but I have been learning to use Ableton Live, a music editing suite, which allowed me to pretend I was Andrew Lloyd Webber for a while. I can say with some degree of certainty he won't be losing any sleep regarding his competition.
